Depuis sa création en 2017, a ppr oc he propose une sélection d ’œuvres qui réunit plusieurs approches du médium photographique. Salon à échelle humaine, construit comme une exposition, privilégiant des solo shows, a ppr oc he se dédie pour la première fois aux pièces uniques: un parti pris qui précise la place de la photographie dans l’art contemporain. La critique d’art et commissaire Léa Chauvel-Lévy, ainsi que le conseiller artistique Tristan Lund, ont joint leurs regards à l’équipe, afin de réunir un contenu artistique pluriel et ambitieux. Les seize artistes sélectionnés (Vincent Ballard, Marco Barbon, Filip Berendt, Katrien de Blauwer, Ellen Carey, Roger Catherineau, Coraline de Chiara, Sylvain Couzinet-Jacques, Laurent Lafolie, Claudia Larcher, Lucas Leffler, Le fétichiste, Ken Matsubara, Jean-Claude Ruggirello, Patrick Waterhouse et Edouard Taufenbach & Régis Campo) tiennent tous une place à la fois marquée et singulière dans la création contemporaine. Certains ne se considèrent pas photographes, d’autres le revendiquent. D’origines et de générations différentes, ils partagent tous des préoccupations communes.

Since its creation in 2017, a ppr oc he has offered a selection of works that brings together several approaches to the photographic medium. A living room on a human scale, built like an exhibition, favoring solo shows, a ppr oc he is dedicated for the first time to unique pieces: a stance that specifies the place of photography in contemporary art. Art critic and curator Léa Chauvel-Lévy, as well as artistic advisor Tristan Lund, joined the team in order to bring together a plural and ambitious artistic content. The sixteen selected artists (Vincent Ballard, Marco Barbon, Filip Berendt, Katrien de Blauwer, Ellen Carey, Roger Catherineau, Coraline de Chiara, Sylvain Couzinet-Jacques, Laurent Lafolie, Claudia Larcher, Lucas Leffler, Le fétichiste, Ken Matsubara, Jean- Claude Ruggirello, Patrick Waterhouse and Edouard Taufenbach & Régis Campo) all hold a prominent and unique place in contemporary creation. Some do not consider themselves photographers, others claim it. From different origins and generations, they all share common concerns.
